• The second New Moon in a calendar month (most common)

• A month (usually February) with no New Moon at all

Unlike a Full Moon, which floods the sky with light, the Black Moon is invisible. It marks the darkest point in the lunar cycle—a void that occurs every 29 to 33 months. This particular portal won’t return until 2027.
